Accredited Vascular Scientist - enhanced NHS payscale Band 6, 7 and 8 plus benefits and bonus
Due to the unprecedented growth of IVS in the last twelve months we are continually looking to recruit experienced staff to our team of 12 vascular scientists.
We will consider any applicants with a good life science degree and at least 18 months experience of vascular ultrasound. The applicant will be capable of performing a range of non-invasive Doppler ultrasound investigations for diagnosis of peripheral arterial and venous disease, but will be given additional training were required. They will be expected to monitor patients in theatres using Transcranial Doppler.
Holding a full clean driving licence you will be expected to travel to hospitals across the Northwest and occasionally across the UK to perform waiting list initiatives. Lots of opportunity to work overtime and provide an on-call service.
